The deal

POMBAT is a game about a small loud creature that lives in your phone. By playing, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't play — the pombat will understand, eventually.

Your account

You can play POMBAT without an account. If you join the club, you give us an email address and a password, and you promise both are yours. You're responsible for what happens under your card — keep the password weird and to yourself. You must be at least 13 years old (or the digital-consent age where you live) to make an account.

Your pombat and its stuff

Pombats, scrap, fits, weapons and every other in-game thing are licensed to you for play, not sold. They live on your device, have no real-world monetary value, and can't be traded for cash. We may rebalance stats, retire items or adjust the economy to keep battles fair — that's game tuning, not theft.

Cosmetic purchases

Cosmetics and themed bundles are optional one-time purchases through your Apple Account. They permanently unlock the listed items for use in POMBAT, with no subscription or additional Buttons required. Use Restore purchases with the same Apple Account to recover eligible purchases. Earned Buttons can also unlock individual cosmetics. Refunds follow Apple's rules; refunded purchases may lose access unless you also earned the item in play.

House rules

Don't cheat, don't exploit bugs to wreck other players' battles, don't harass anyone through any name or image the game lets you share, and don't try to break into accounts or servers that aren't yours. We can suspend or delete accounts that break the rules — the yellow rope comes down for everyone the same.

Battles and servers

Battle outcomes are computed on our servers and are final — the sim is the referee. We work to keep servers up but don't promise they always will be; sometimes the arena closes for maintenance or because a cloud hiccupped.

Ending things

You can stop playing anytime, and delete your account from the profile screen — that removes your club card from our servers for good. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Local data (your pombat, your closet) stays on your device until you delete the app.

The boring-but-important part

The game is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for more than you paid us in the last 12 months. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms as the game grows. Meaningful changes get announced in the app; continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
