“No opponent found” — is it broken?
No — POMBAT only matches you against people playing right now. No bots, no ghosts. If the queue is empty, wait a bit or drag a friend into the club. In the meantime, Odd Jobs (the solo missions board) and the daily Arena condition are always open.
I can't sign in
POMBAT uses Sign in with Apple or Game Center — no passwords to lose. If sign-in fails, check that you're signed into your Apple Account in Settings, then try again. Game Center sign-in needs Game Center enabled in Settings → Games.
The AR battle won't start
Battles need the camera to find a surface. Make sure POMBAT has camera access (Settings → Apps → POMBAT), give it decent lighting, and point at a flat surface like a counter or the floor. Kitchen counters are traditional.
Same-room duels can't find my friend
Face-to-face duels use your local network. Both phones need POMBAT open, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on, and Local Network permission granted (Settings → Apps → POMBAT). You have to actually be in the same room. That's the whole bit.
My cosmetic purchase didn't show up
Open your profile or the cosmetic shop and tap Restore purchases while signed into the Apple Account used to buy the item. Approved purchases also recover when the app reopens. Still missing? Write us with your order receipt from Apple.
Can I pick a different pet?
No. Your pet chose you. Deleting your account and starting over gets you a new random companion — but your closet, gear, record, and bond go with the old one. Choose your betrayals carefully.
Purchases and refunds
Cosmetics are one-time purchases, with no subscription to cancel. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refunded items may be removed from your closet unless you also earned them in play.
The widget stopped updating
Open the app — the widget catches up whenever the app runs. If it's stuck, remove the widget from your home screen and add it again. iOS rations widget updates, so a short lag is normal; a frozen pet is not.
Deleting your account
Profile screen → Delete Account. This permanently removes your cloud save — pet, closet, battle record, everything — from our servers. There is no undo, and your companion does not come back. See the privacy policy for what we store in the first place (very little).
