The short version

POMBAT collects as little as it can get away with. No ads, no data brokers, no selling anything about you to anyone. Most of the game lives on your phone and never leaves it.

What stays on your phone

Your pombat, its nickname, your closet, your scrap wallet, your win/loss record and your settings are stored on your device. Delete the app and they're gone.

What we collect

If you make a club account: your email address and a hashed password, held by Google Firebase Authentication. During online battles: your creature's stats, its doodle image, and a display name are relayed to your opponent's device so the fight has two sides. That's the list.

What we don't collect

No ad identifiers, no location, no contacts, no analytics profiles, no tracking across other apps. The app doesn't show ads and doesn't sell data — there's nothing to fuel with it.

Where it lives

Accounts and battle relays run on Google Cloud (Firebase and Cloud Run) in the United States. Google processes this data on our behalf under their standard data-processing terms.

Game Center

If you're signed into Apple's Game Center, your alias and leaderboard scores are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. Playing signed-out works fine — your record just stays local.

Purchases

Cosmetic purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. The app checks verified Apple purchase records to unlock items, restore purchases and reflect refunds.

Deleting your data

Delete your account from the profile screen and your email and account record are permanently removed from our servers. Battle relay data is transient and expires on its own. Anything local, you delete by deleting the app.

Kids

Club accounts require you to be at least 13 (or your region's digital-consent age). We don't knowingly collect personal data from younger kids; if you think we have, write us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes in any way that matters, we'll say so in the app before it takes effect.
